There are a lot of recipes I use fairly often, or recipes not in a cookbook. I have gathered a lot of those recipes in a recipe collection. I write the recipes on A5 (half A4) and print and laminate them. It makes it easy to wipe them clean, if you should spill on them while they are in the kitchen. At the same time I also publish some of them on my homepage (they are in Danish). I keep the recipes in a shoe box divided into categories: Baking, Starters, Main Courses etc. and each category sorted alphabetically.
The recipe collecting also sometimes serves as inspiration.
