Still a lot of figs - now turned into a jar of fig jam. Ingredients: 12-14 figs 1 dl cane sugar 7 cm cinnamon stick ½  vanilla bean split and seeded 2 tbsp lemon juice Atamon (preserve) Wash the figs and cut the stem and  bottom and cut in quarters. Boil with sugar and spices on low heat for approx. 20 minutes until most of the juice is evaporated. Remember to stir often. Then blend - make it boil again - remove from heat and add Atamon. We had a major thunder storm late October. The result was that TV, computer, printer, freezer, oven, inverter (solar panels) and some minor stuff was ruined. Luckily we were insured, so a great deal of the costs were covered. I make my own labels for my dish cloths, and my template went down the drain along with the computer 😞 I usually store my stuff in the sky, but apparently not this time.
