I was reminded of our visit to the Minack Theater, when I read
Angel with Two Faces by Nicola Upson.

The theater was build and financed by
Rowena Cade (who also occurs in Angel with Two Faces). At first the theater was rather primitive -the stage a simple grass terrace, but eventually Cade built a remarkable theater in the cliff side with the sea as an amazing backdrop.
