First ripe indoor tomato |
I took tomato seeds from a potted tomato plant I bought last year. It is very easy. You scrape the seeds out of the tomato and into a glass of water and let it stand for 3-4 days in room temperature. Then you strain the seeds and rinse in a sieve under running water. Place the seeds on a paper towel and let dry and then store it for next years use.
They germinated willingly this year and i planted 5 in pots.

Tomato plants with flowers |
They have been decorative in the windowsill. I guess I should have planted 2-3 in eavh pot, as one single plant only made 5-6 tomatoes despite the many flowers. The tomatoes are not very big,, so the work doesn't quite add up to the result ππ
