In this heat it is difficult to do much else but reading. My knitting gets damp. The cover on this book is "cooling".

I have previously blogged about one of Sharon Owen's books: Revenge of the Wedding Planner.
This novel is also about weddings. Emily has fled to London after being stood up at the altar by former boyfriend Alex. Emily is from a dysfunctional family and has to clean up old traumas. Luckily she gets good help from her new and very sympathetic boyfriend.
If you like chick-lit this is an easy read and probably also easily forgotten, but entertaining.
