Cast on  60 stitches and knit 4 rows and then pattern. Remember to start and

end all rows with 2 k. When the cloth has the desired length you knit 4 rows and bind off.

Pattern:

row 1: knit

row 2 og 14: 1 k, 3 p

row 3 og 13: 2 k, 2 p

row 4 og 12: 3 k, 1 p

row 5 og 11: 3 p, 1 k

row 6 og 10: 2 p, 2 k

row 7 og 9: 1 p, 3 k

row 8: purl

You have to remember that all uneven rows start in the right side of the diagram and X=purl and ▢= knit. All equal rows start in the left side of the diagram and X=knit and ▢=purl.
